Last night the cold northern winds blew all night. We taxied into coconut grove today, dropped off our laundry and walked around the area. Had lunch at the Peacock Garden then had T do his schoolwork in a park. Instant gratification worked well – he could see the jungle Jim from the table we sat at and he was done in record time to go and play with the other kids. Easing into the night out in our cockpit. The benches up here are the most comfortable seats on the boat, which makes perfect sense since the weather and fresh sea air is so fabulous. It makes you healthy just breathing it in. We’re now looking at.a weather window of  Monday eve – will be in Bimini by midday Tuesday. We hope this window remains open! Tomorrow we go back on the hook so we have been downloading furiously …we’re all stocked, fueled, watered and laundered and ready for the big crossing already.
