Winds blowing too hard today for the Atlantic so were just motoring down the intracoastal waterway to an anchorage in Biscayne Bay. From leaving the river and into the intercostal waterway we’ll have to go through 14 \u00a0drawbridges – we’ve gone through seven so far. In the ICW in Ft. Lauderdale we went by about six of the huge cruise ships. Hollywood, FL, had lots of high rise condos along the beach and just about everywhere has been huge mansions on the water – a glimpse of the monied life. The wind feels great and it feels good to be on the water moving south. When we get to our anchorage we’ll get to drop the anchor for the first time on Curlew- can’t wait! (Not.
