We had a great day exploring the 100-mile island of Eleuthera today. Driving on the “country” roads at times looked like it could be anywhere – Tennessee, Forida, Missouri. But then the sound would come into view in all its brilliant blue glory. We passed through town after town – made it as far as the glass bridge – a landmark that is basically a bridge of limestone where the deep blue of the Atlantic is on one side and the turquoise of the sound is on the other.<\/p>\n
We stocked up on supplies on the way home then ran around our marina, took in the sunset, and Lawson befriended one of the marina guests who just came in with a big catch of mahi – and gave us a bunch of it. Turns out he is from the Tampa Bay Area as well as another couple here. Small world.<\/p>\n
Tonight we are having fresh mahi for dinner – yay! And we saw a beautiful sunset tonight from the marina.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
