Organizing, selling, packing, round-filing. Moving is a chore. But we’re keeping our eyes on the prize. Already we’ve encountered a few unexpected obstacles in getting from Vegas back to St. Pete, Florida, but we shall overcome! Planning to leave on Monday, December 8th, with stops in Carthage, MO (my folks), Kansas City, MO (my sister, brother-in-law and niece), Memphis, TN (my best friend from high school and college), New Orleans (no explanation needed) and Apalachicola (oysters, shrimp, beach). Of course all this could change depending on the weather – may have to take a more southern route. We shall see.

Lawson had a printed out article last night titled “A Rough Crossing”. It had pictures of family members on deck looking ill and holding Tupperware to get sick into. Note to self: check into sea sickness medicine. I didn’t read the article. Maybe I will in between the million other things I have to do. However, ignorance is bliss…
